May Blog Post: What Does "Clean" Really Mean?

Have you made the switch to all clean beauty products? If you’re still waiting to make the change, check out our blog post: “A Guide To Going Non-Toxic.” Even if you think your products are 100% non-toxic, marketing language can be deceiving. Put your product labels to the test!

Sneaky, toxic ingredients have many harmful effects on our bodies however, hormone disruption is a real concern. There are many preservatives that alter our bodies hormones causing estrogen disruption. Too much estrogen can trigger an increase in breast cell division and growth of tumors. It is believed that parabens are linked to breast cancer.

Tips for reading labels:

  • Less is better: if the ingredients list is too long, or you can’t pronounce some of the ingredients, they probably contain toxins.
  • “Natural” can mean anything: The term “natural” is not regulated which means that even toxic products can use the word “natural” to market themselves. Better descriptors to look for are “100% non-toxic,” or “toxin free.”

These ingredients below are common in American beauty products but BANNED in other countries! If you see these on your labels, throw them away.

  • Aluminum
  • Fragrance
  • Parabens (methylparaben, propylparaben)
  • Phthalates
  • Benzoates (sodium benzoate)
  • Nitrates
  • Phenoxyethanol
  • BHA & BHT
  • BPA (found in plastic)
  • Triphenyl phosphate
  • Petroleum
  • Formaldehyde*
  • Hydroquinone
  • Phenylenediamine

*Formaldehyde releasing agents are banned in Japan and Sweden. Minnesota has banned instate sales of children’s personal care products

Why avoid plastic?

  • Many plastics contain a synthetic compound called BPA (Bisphenol A) which has been found to damage the developing mammary gland in a way which could increase the risk of breast cancer. BPA has also been linked to prostate cancer diabetes, fetal brain development, heart disease and reproductive disorders.
  • The FDA claims that BPA is safe at low levels; European Union believes that it is very harmful to our health that they have banned it. You decide.

How is Luxxe Honor different?

We only use Vitamin E as our preservative. Vitamin E is an antioxidant and replaces harmful parabens. Our Luxxe Honor collection is only filled in small glass bottles. Glass is recommended when pure essential oils are used.

We believe internal purity exudes exterior beauty. Join us in the crusade to fight toxins in our products! A great place to start is replacing your deodorant and perfumes.

Hi everyone reading this amazing testimony of mine and i want to give my own verdict on how you can win the lottery by contacting Dr Kumar for your lottery numbers. I started playing lottery games for years now and I have never won big. I went online to seek help to see if i could get some tips on how I can win bigger amounts on the lottery and I saw some nice reviews about Dr Kumar who has made different people huge winners in the lottery by sending them lottery numbers. I gave it a try and I contacted Dr Kumar by email and he told me how and what to do before I can become a big lotto winner and I accepted. He made special prayers for me at his temple and sent me the required lottery numbers to play and when I played it, I won a massive $235.4 million POWERBALL jackpot. I was so happy and I chose to receive my winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment of $160,038,447.27 at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee and the balance was given to the store that I bought & played the game from. I would love other people who want to win the lottery to seek help from Dr Kumar and he will also send you the lottery numbers and make you a winner just like me. You can reach Dr Kumar on email: spellcasttemple@gmail.com or WhatsApp +2347051705853
